What makes clubs sports different?
Collegiate club sports are designed for universities or colleges to compete with others competitively but are not run by the institution. Clubs sports are usually student run and self funded. Unlike college sports, clubs are not regulated by the NCAA or other athletic associations. However, clubs sports do have options when looking to organize nationally. Associations and leagues have been set up to accommodate collegiate clubs sports looking to expand.
